diorama

mday45L.jpg

Dioramas of the different eras and periods of geologic time have been moved within the museum over the years - but for a very long time they were my eldest child's favorite display in the Museum of Natural History, and they remain a sentimental favorite. This is a Carboniferous Period window, with blastoids and crinoids waving about under the green light of the sea.
