I sat at one of the tables outside the Museum of Art's entrance and listened to the rush of the fountain as I drew this afternoon. Looking up and to the side, I saw the edge of the building receding with a tree beside it, and then partly obscuring the tree was the monumental Serra sculpture, "Carnegie." The wind moved the leaves around, the water kept rushing, and the rust lines on the steel looked like the tracks of water over a very long time.
