The Neopolitan Presepio is now set up in center of the Hall of Sculpture. A sign of the season. I do miss having it in the Hall of Architecture, where all the plaster casts surrounded it with ruined glory - the short black curtain behind it now does not create the same effect. I find myself wishing, at the very least, for a blue damask sky...

I knew *exactly* what this was from the drawing -- I flooded with memories of this angel from when I was a kid, coming to the museum on Saturdays for the pre-college art classes. Let's start a petition to bring it back to the Hall of Architecture!
